Message from the Senate President pro Tempore

Welcome to the website of the California State Senate. The Senate is actively working on critical legislation to improve California, address issues in our communities related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to meet the needs of all Californians. While we address the pressing issues our state is facing, we encourage you to participate and watch remotely, as we continue to flatten the curve of Coronavirus. Please continue to follow state and local public health guidelines to safeguard against the virus, and contact your Senator’s office with any issues or concerns. Thank you for helping us improve California for everyone who lives here.

Toni G. Atkins
